A six day intensive Table Top Puppet Making workshop in London led by Lyndie Wright.

The purpose of the workshop is to create a soft table-top puppet for one or two manipulators (example in photograph below). Lyndie will be sharing principles around puppeteer-friendly puppets - looking at the inherent balance of a puppet; how to make a puppet that walks well, that is lightweight and easy to manipulate. In the workshop, participants will be choosing a human character and working to an original Lyndie Wright design. Materially, we will be shaping in reticulated foam, carving in wood and using leather and wooden joints.
